Nigel is an experienced executive and advisor with a successful track record of growing technology businesses internationally. His key focus is on the Scale-Up stage of Software and Services businesses, transforming them through a clear agreed strategy, designing and delivering robust sales, delivery and operational processes to provide the platform for transformation and growth.
Nigel has worked at senior leadership level in both larger corporates and SMEs; and has been the CEO of a number of high-growth technology and services companies including Brains Direct / Endava, DTM, and Whitespace before co-founding Beaconsoft.
Stewart has worked in the technology sector at Project Manager & Board level across a range of technical organizations since 1995. Stewart has much experience working for and within agencies, leading the delivery of coherent, measured digital strategies from the software layer upwards, incorporating modern channels such as social media, mobile applications and the use of Augmented Reality & Big Data for informed BI.
Stewart is a technologist at heart focused on delivery of game-changing digital projects, including being digital lead for the nationally important UK Police Memorial. Within Beacon, Stewart takes the Technology Director role, responsible for the technology delivery of the Beacon vision.
Mike's focus has always been on the strategic marketing and business development aspects of technology-focused businesses. He has performed senior management roles with software and professional services organisations globally, driving the marketing strategy and developing multi-country propositions. His key strengths are in marketing strategy, proposition building, sales-lead business development, and building and managing networks of business partners.
Mike is equally comfortable working with a start-up business as he is with corporates. He has acted in a consulting capacity to a mix of new and growing smaller companies including a mobile music app business, a multi-channel home delivery service, a property development and management company, and a public relations agency.
Matt has been building things on the web for over 15 years. Having worked in a number of creative agencies he is now the director of product development at Beacon.
Matt's passions lay in architecting easy to use software by planning and prototyping with the goal of simplifying the complex. He is a problem solver with one eye on business goals and the other one customer goals. As the product designer, Matt is also responsible for making Beacon look and function well for our customers, a task he takes very seriously and enjoys immensely. Matt’s goal is to ensure our customers love using Beacon and are eager to tell all their friends!
