Getting started with Beacon

What does Beacon do?

Beacon is a powerful tool that provides deep data insights. Beacon allows you to monitor and suppress bot traffic. Also to track Links manage campaigns, measure website traffic generated by your marketing activity.

Once you’ve added the Beacon bot detection tag to your site you’ll be able to make the most of Beacon…

Step 1.

If you haven’t already set up a Beacon account, please contact us here Support to arrange setting up an account. Once you have a Beacon account you will be able to proceed.

Step 2.

In order for Beacon to work, you’ll need to install a small snippet of code on your website. It’s pretty easy to do, and you can find out how to do it here:

NOTE: Beacon will not work without this, so it’s really important that you install the code on the website you will be using with Beacon.

Step 3.

You can then access Beacon at https://analytics.thisisbeacon.com. Sign in, add the website details, and you will be prompted to create a test campaign and link. Once you have done that, navigate to “Account” > “Ad Connectors” (bottom left of the screen) and connect your Google and Facebook ad accounts.
