Beaconsoft Limited is pleased to announce we have become the UK Police Memorial Trust’s official Technology & Hosting Partner.
We join other notable supporters including HRH The Duke of Cambridge, Twitter, Liverpool John Moores University and Morgen Thomas, as a primary partner.
Other supporters include Airbus, Airwave Solutions Ltd, Care of Police Survivors, NPCC (National Police Chiefs’ Council), Police Credit Union, City of London Corporation, Everton Football Club, Police Mutual, LBC radio and the Daily Express, Stoke City Football Club, the Duke of Edinburgh Trust, the National Association of Police Chaplains, as well as Police forces and Police federations across the UK.

Losses in the thousands
Since 1749 and the creation of the Bow Street Runners as the world’s first recognised Police Service, more than 4,000 men and women have given their lives to serve and protect our communities in the United Kingdom. Losses in British colonial and other UK administered forces overseas number as many as a further 1,000.
The new memorial will honour those officers and staff who have died on duty, as well as those who lost their lives in the conduct of their duty ; it will recognise the bravery of officers such as PC Keith Palmer, who died in the Westminster terror attack, and PCs Nicola Hughes and Fiona Bone, who died after they were attacked by Dale Cregan in September 2012.
